Working with artisans from Peru, Ecuador, India and Vietnam, Just Trade create sustainable Fair Trade projects to market crafts people’s jewellery. The company was founded in 2006 by jewellery designer Laura Cave, with the aim of creating jobs that support traditional techniques and skills from around the world. From crocheted silverwork to beautifully carved tangua pendants, Just Trade’s distinctive products are handmade with care from locally sourced and ethical materials where possible.
This collection is inspired by the ancient cultures of South America, and was collaboratively designed by Diana, Lizet and Naty after a trip to the Museo Larco in Lima.
They now proudly make these designs, and have trained other artisan makers in the Hope Jewellery Project to help with production.
