Refund policy
Damaged or Faulty Goods
If the goods you receive have been damaged in transit or are faulty, please contact us by telephone or email within seven days of receipt: 01856 888791 or shop@thelongship.co.uk and we will advise on how to proceed.
Please quote your order number and keep the packaging as you may be asked to return it. Depending on circumstances, we will usually refund or replace your purchase, but please do not return anything before contacting us.
Other Returns
If you've changed your mind about keeping your order, please return any items within 30 days of purchase in their original condition, and in the case of clothing, unworn and with the original tags still attached.
All Items are to be returned at the sender's expense, using a courier and service that provides suitable compensation to the value of the order, to cover any loss or damage in transit.
How you'll be refunded
You’ll receive a refund within 7 days of returning the item, issued to the same payment method used for the original purchase. For items bought with gift cards, we’ll send an e-gift card to the email address that was used to make the original purchase.

Return of Goods / Replacement / Refunds
Please pack any returns with care, ensuring the parcel is secure.
We cannot be held responsible for any returns that are lost in transit.
Returns will be examined on receipt. If the goods are faulty we will replace the item or refund the cost, including postage in both directions, whichever you prefer. If you are returning something because you have changed your mind, we will not refund postage in either direction.
We cannot accept returns or provide refunds or replacements for any items that are specifically made to order for you, unless there is a manufacturing fault.
Earrings
For hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns of earrings, unless the goods are faulty or damaged in transit.
Various
Goods are not sent on approval: all orders accepted are taken as confirmed.
Refunds will be made by the original method of payment.
Any dispute regarding a purchase made from this site will be governed under Scottish law.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
