Shipping policy

FREQUENCY 

We mail out orders five days per week, Monday to Friday.  Parcels leave each day at approximately 1pm.

UK SHIPPING 

We charge £4.99 postage and packaging for orders within the UK.

WORLDWIDE SHIPPING 

We charge £19.99 postage and packaging for orders outwith the UK.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS

Prices of our goods are different if you are outside the UK. This is because duty and other taxes vary from country to country. The two most important factors are:

1. Where delivery outside of the UK is selected, all prices are shown exclusive of VAT, which is 20% in the UK.

2. Depending on which country you live in, Customs Duty and Local Taxes of different levels may be payable upon delivery. These are NOT included in the total displayed.

Please contact us before ordering if you have any questions, or would like us to estimate additional charges in your country. We cannot guarantee what you will be charged, as that is outwith our control. But please ask and we will do our best to work out a likely charge.

EXCEPTIONAL COSTS 

Occasionally, very large or heavy items - e.g. furniture, large interior items - may incur extra shipping costs.  We reserve the right to pass these on, but will always contact you in advance to make sure you wish to proceed with your order.

METHOD OF SHIPPING 

We prefer to use Royal Mail and Parcelforce, as we find them most reliable and cheapest.  For some larger parcels we use other couriers. We will always use whatever method is best to ensure your order arrives relatively quickly, securely and in good condition - while not costing the earth.

SPEED OF SHIPPING 

Within the UK, parcels usually take two to three days to arrive.  For Europe, it is usually three to five days.  For other areas, it is usually five to seven days, though obviously that can vary depending on your exact location. The best advice is: don't leave ordering till the last minute if you need it by a specific date.  

MISSING ORDERS 

It is extremely rare for orders to go missing in transit, so don't think the worst if your parcel doesn't arrive on the day you expect.   But do email us if you haven't received your parcel within a reasonable time of us dispatching it: as a rough guide, the above 'usual' timescales, plus 48 hours.
