Designed by Islay was born out of a love of an eclectic selection of passions; type design, colour and the Scottish language. Inspired by sayings my mother and grandmother used to say, I started creating colourful greeting cards and art prints of inspirational Scottish quotes beautifully set in contemporary type focusing on the positive.
