Hello! I’m Laura and I’m the Glasgow-based designer and artist behind Blue Ranchu Designs.

A classically trained musician, I left my career in music and events to retrain in Graphic Design. Having always been a creative and artistic person, I decided to turn my passion for craft and design into a full-time business.

My designs start out as sketches and drawings which I then finish digitally. I make many of my products by hand in my studio and I also work with a handful of Scottish and UK based manufacturers. I pride myself on being able to produce beautiful products to a very high standard. This also means I can create one-off designs and commissions for that extra special gift.
