These circular earrings are inspired by ancient sacred stone circles. The surface is uniquely textured using Caitlin’s hand forged tools. The circular forms are hollow making these statement earrings comfortable to wear. These make a really special gift to someone with an interest in ancient history and sacred sites.
Each earring has a 40mm drop and the circle element is 20x20x5 mm.

About Caitlin Hegney
Caitlin Hegney is based in Helensburgh Argyll, on the West coast of Scotland, and designs and makes a range of rings, necklaces and earrings in the tranquillity of her home studio. Caitlin looks for rhythms and patterns that transcend ancient times, interpreting them for the present day. Drawing is at the roots of her practice using hand-made tools to translate the expressive quality of her sketches into precious metals. She puts her own spin on traditional craft processes of chasing, filigree and lost wax casting.
