Isle of Auskerry has been a family run business on the remote Orkney Islands for over 35 years. They raise North Ronaldsay sheep, a rare, seaweed-eating breed, that there are only two flocks left of on Orkney. This original ‘Isle of Auskerry’ design has a wheatsheaf and lacey cable stitch and plaited tassel finish. Unlike knitted hats that ‘hug’ the head this hat is very feminine and drapes beautifully to suit all shapes of face. This kit is suitable for people with some knitting experience.
