These Partridge & Pear Christmas matches bring heritage inspired illustration to an everyday essential. The design features a partridge framed by pears, berries and branches, rendered in layered, painterly detail that nods to folk art and traditional Christmas craft. Classic reds and greens are balanced with softer tones and subtle metallic touches, giving the box a decorative finish that feels current. Made in Europe, the sturdy matchbox is designed for regular use and looks good left out on a shelf, mantel or coffee table.

About Talking Tables

It was at her mother’s kitchen table, our founder Clare discovered her love of tablescaping and the joy of bringing people together.

Such was the appeal, Clare made the decision to give up the security of her successful corporate career to launch Talking Tables, from her own kitchen table. Rather than turning to external investors for funding, Clare grew the business organically. To this day it’s very much still a family owned and led business.
