The Braided Rug Company

In 2011, The Braided Rug Company created their own range of natural, jute rugs, in partnership with a family-run manufacturing company in Bangladesh, using organic jute fibres, and the local, artisan skills to produce their first in-house designed colourways.

Through constant innovation, they are now ECOTA accredited (the National Fair Trade Network of Bangladesh, a World Fair Trade Organisation), and are committed to looking after people, creating jobs, employing woman and working constantly to provide the best working environment possible, employing solar energy, and recycling the soft rain water for dying their yarns.
