Hoot Hoot! Send a thank you by air with Stephen Thomson’s wise, winged design. A message from Stephen:
'I really love drawing. I especially like drawing all different animals including frogs and birds. I feel happy and really proud to be part of something like ARTHOUSE Unlimited.
I’ve had epilepsy since I was a baby. I have seizures with no warning quite a lot of the time. I’d like someone to stop it, but I’m on a new tablet now which is at least better.
I’ve been coming to ARTHOUSE Unlimited for quite a long time. My Grandad was an artist and I think all my talents come from him. I know I’m disabled, but I know I’ve got talent.'
Arthouse Unlimited is a social enterprise made up of artists living with complex epilepsy and learning disabilities. The artists work alongside instructors to create artworks which are developed into designer products for sale. Offering a sense of purpose lies at the heart of Arthouse’s philosophy in line with their belief that feeling truly respected improves health and well-being. They strive to challenge perceptions and to create better acceptance and inclusion for all people living with disabilities.
