An utterly beautiful sterling silver labradorite pendant from the Nebula collection. This "Storm" Nebula pendant is quite magical. The colours of this gemstone reflect the Orkney skies on a stormy day.
Inuit folklore believe that the Northern Lights were released from this colourful gemstone which changes colour as light bounces of the different internal surfaces. Normally grey, the stone can display one or more flashes of colour, such as gold, electric blue and teal.
The gemstones are naturally occurring, and therefore each one is unique and colours may vary slightly from stone to stone.
Pendant 2.2cm long on an 18" Sterling silver chain.

Some gemstones are harder than others (see Moh's Scale of Hardness). To keep the gemstones looking in tip top condition, it is worth considering this when deciding on cleaning, frequency of wear etc.
