Matching the right wine to the restaurant

We select from hundreds of the world’s winemakers to match suitable wines for the restaurants’ menus.

We work with a range of importers, selecting from their ranges to suit our needs, and seeking out specialists in particular areas when customer requests or our own passions demand.

Helping innovative wine businesses thrive

For instance, we have linked up this year with Olivier Humbrecht of Alsace’s Domaine Zind-Humbrecht. Following a meeting with Olivier during his Orkney holiday in 2006 (he’s a Highland Park fan!), we were amongst the first in the UK to order from his fledgling import business, Auld Alliance, which imports exclusively biodynamic wines – direct into the Highlands of Scotland.

All of these wines are extremely high quality, and speak volumes of their terroirs too, and we have seen great sales for producers such as Pierre Morey from Burgundy, Domaine Saint Nicholas from the fascinating Ile d’Olonne at the mouth of the Loire, and of course Zind-Humbrecht themselves.
