Our Winemakers
We are proud to be able to stock wines from many of the world’s leading wineries, some with established reputations, others still up-and-coming names. Customers sometimes remark that they don’t recognize many of our labels: that’s probably because we avoid the big brands that fill the supermarket shelves. Experience has taught us that the wines made by small to medium sized wineries (roughly 3,000 to 100,000 cases per year) are more interesting, individual and characterful than industrial wines made to a factory formula.
There isn’t space to list all our wines: we usually have about 200 on display at any one time, and more in our cellars. What’s more, we are always adding exciting new wines as we discover them. But here is a representative sample:
